Waiting for someone to play with

The rocks on the shore

of Jenny Lake

are among the oldest on earth.

For nine million years

they've been waiting

to be skipped across the water.

Seems like a long time

to sit around

for two seconds of thrill and fun.

But if you ask them

they will tell you

it was totally worth the wait.
