The 'shrooms are in blooms!

mushrooms blooming

Opportunities
sprout forth and blossom
as surprises from the ground.

Like backyard mushrooms
they grow in places
that we only tread lightly.

But when they mature
will we notice them?
Or mistake them for toadstools?
