Golfing out west

Head out west
where the sun shines bright.
Car loaded up
the world's alright.

Time with friends
in the summertime.
Bragging rights:
"I'm in my prime!"

Its tee to green
then you putt for dough.
No time to choke!
Put on a show!

Cows in the pasture.
No cemetery!
Hole number six
the creek to ferry.

The day is done,
inside jokes appear.
No place like this
park-like atmosphere!

    1. Thanks Tiger! Glad you enjoyed it! I tried to mix in a little bit about Burwell with the references to the cows in the pasture and the cemetery (hole #3). Anyway, thanks for reading! Have a great day, man!

Another stanza or two and you could have worked something in about picking beans... :)
